Article Processing Charge (APC)
TRANSFORMA: Journal of Community Innovation and Transformation is an Open Access journal committed to disseminating high-quality community service research and innovation without subscription barriers.
To support the editorial management, manuscript processing, production, online publication, digital preservation, DOI registration, website maintenance, and long-term journal sustainability, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 10 (or the equivalent amount in local currency) for each manuscript that has been accepted for publication.
The APC is only payable after the manuscript has successfully completed the peer-review process and received a formal acceptance decision from the Editorial Board.
No payment is requested at the time of manuscript submission or during the peer-review process.
Submission Fee
Submission Fee: Free
Authors may submit manuscripts to TRANSFORMA without any submission fee.
All submitted manuscripts undergo the same editorial screening and double-blind peer-review process regardless of the author's ability or willingness to pay the APC.

The APC covers the costs associated with:
- Editorial management.
- Double-blind peer review administration.
- Copyediting and language checking.
- Layout editing and article production.
- DOI registration.
- Online publication.
- Digital archiving and preservation.
- Journal website maintenance.

Editorial Independence
Payment of the APC does not influence the editorial evaluation, peer-review process, or publication decision.
Editorial decisions are based solely on:
- Scientific quality.
- Originality.
- Community impact.
- Relevance to the journal's aims and scope.
- Compliance with publication ethics.
Authors cannot obtain preferential treatment through payment of publication fees.

Refunds may only be considered in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the Editorial Board.
Waiver Policy
At present, TRANSFORMA does not operate a regular APC waiver program.
However, in exceptional cases, the Editorial Board may consider partial or full fee waivers for authors based on specific academic or institutional considerations. Any waiver decision is made independently of the editorial review process.
Payment Procedure
Detailed payment instructions will be provided to the corresponding author only after the manuscript has received final acceptance for publication.
The journal will never request publication fees before the completion of the editorial and peer-review process.
Transparency
TRANSFORMA is committed to maintaining transparency in all publication charges.
All applicable fees are clearly disclosed on the journal website, and no hidden charges will be imposed on authors at any stage of the publication process.
