TRANSFORMA: Journal of Community Innovation and Transformation is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of all published scholarly content.

The journal recognizes that permanent access to scholarly publications is an essential component of responsible academic publishing and supports digital preservation practices that safeguard the scholarly record for future generations.

Digital Preservation

All published articles are permanently maintained on the journal's official publishing platform and remain freely accessible under the journal's Open Access Policy.

The Editorial Office is committed to maintaining secure digital records and implementing appropriate preservation strategies to minimize the risk of data loss or unauthorized alteration.

Preservation Strategy

To support long-term accessibility, the journal maintains:

  • Permanent publication of all accepted articles on the official journal website.
  • Regular system maintenance and database management.
  • Backup of journal files and publication metadata.
  • Preservation of article identifiers, metadata, and published records.
  • Stable URLs for published articles whenever possible.

OJS Preservation Support

TRANSFORMA is published using Open Journal Systems (OJS), which supports integration with recognized digital preservation services.

Where available and applicable, the journal may participate in preservation services such as:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN).
  • LOCKSS.
  • CLOCKSS.
  • Other trusted digital preservation initiatives.

Information regarding active preservation services will be updated on the journal website as they become available.

Integrity of the Scholarly Record

Published articles constitute part of the permanent scholarly record.

The journal does not remove published articles except under exceptional legal circumstances.

Where post-publication changes are necessary, they will be handled through the journal's:

  • Corrections Policy.
  • Retractions Policy.
  • Withdrawal Policy.
  • Research Misconduct Policy.

This approach ensures transparency while preserving the integrity of the scholarly record.

Metadata Preservation

The journal is committed to preserving publication metadata to facilitate:
